Alberta Harm Reduction Conferences
The goal of the Conference is to raise awareness in Alberta about the application of harm reduction principles amongst decision makers and service providers who deal with populations vulnerable to Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS and to build capacities within those vulnerable communities. Vagina Monologues, February 8 & 9, 2013
The Vagina Monologues is a play presented with a goal to raise awareness of violence against women and girls on a local and global level. Funds raised from this event will go directly into work
to
end violence against women and girls. In Central Alberta, 90% of proceeds stay in the community, supporting the health and safety of vulnerable women and 10% of proceeds go towards the VDay’s international spotlight location. Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life, September 23, 2012
The AIDS Walk is a national awareness and fundraising event that takes place every year in communities all across Canada. Funds raised support direct programs and services for Central Albertans living with HIV. Registration is open and we are looking for walkers, teams, donors and other sponsors.
